Instructions for application forms.This page is designed to help you fill out the application form. If you have a query that is not covered in the notes below then please contact Siubhán in the office above. There are 3 documents to this application process; we have endeavored to make them as clear and straightforward as possible.Please fill in ALL 3 forms and take the time to read the Regulations. When complete you may post entry forms along with entry fee and insurance details to -Siubhán Mc Carthy, Ocean to City, Meitheal Mara, Crosses Green House, Crosses Green, Cork, Ireland.

NEW ENTRIES - please not if you are entering a boat-type that we have not seen before then please contact the office for details of our measurement process.

CLUB NAME -  If you are not a member of a Club then Crew Name will suffice 

CREW NAME - The collective name by which you wish your crew to be known for inclusion in the entry list, programme etc.Multiple entries from one club must have distinguishing names for ID purposes.  

BOAT NAME - The name of your boat is vital to help distinguish between entries - particularly if there is more than one from the same club. 

CREW CONTACT - The name, address and (preferably) daytime telephone number of the person to whom all correspondence relating to the race should be sent. 

BOAT TYPE - The type of boat entered, e.g. double skiff, gig, longboat, ICRF one design, racing currach etc.  

1. NO OF OARS/PADDLESThe number of oars/paddles to be used to propel the boat during the race. 

2. NO OF ROWERS/PADDLERSThe actual number of individuals in the boat. A four-oared craft, for example, might have two or four rowers. Please state clearly whether you will change crew or part of your crew in Monkstown and how many rowers you will enter altogether for your particular boat. 3.         

REGISTRATION - Please enclose the appropriate amount with your entry forms. The fee per person occupying a seat is € 30 and €10 for a junior crew member.  Exemptions may apply on request, e.g. large crews. We regret that we cannot issue receipts/invoices. Please copy your entry form for your records. Cheques should be made payable to Meitheal Mara                    

 4. ELIGIBILITYAny traditional boat, or traditional-style replica, propelled by a minimum of four oars or paddles is eligible. Further categories may be allowed on request. 

5.  REGULATIONS Please read the  'Regulations' details carefully and ensure that you understand the requirements fully before entering. 

6. ORGANISER Ocean to City is organised by Meitheal Mara, Crosses Green, Cork.  Please send completed entry form(s) with registration fee to this address. 

7.CLOSING DATE - The closing date for entries is Fri. May 28th 2010 We need time to process your entry for handicapping purposes – please ensure you have your entry in on time.
