IMPORTANT - The race organisers reserve the right to exclude/disqualify any boat they consider
to be unsafe in the prevailing conditions, or that does not conform to the Race regulations. All entrants are
responsible for the safety and condition of their own craft and equipment, for insuring it and for the safety of
all persons aboard. That insurance must include adequate cover against third party claims for any loss, injury or
damage to property or persons (including all persons aboard the craft).
Please send a copy of your schedule of
insurance with this declaration, as no boat or kayak will be allowed to participate without a copy of their schedule
of insurance being supplied to the race administration.
I declare that the craft entered on this form for the "Ocean to City" Cork Harbour Race 2013 is in
seaworthy condition and covered by third party insurance as described above and in the Regulations. I
am aware that all persons aboard are obliged, by Irish maritime law, to wear their Personal Flotation
Device (PFD) at all times.
I understand that each crewmember will have to bring their own PFD, as there
will be none supplied by the organiser.
